Zhou Shaohua is one of the premier artists of modern China. His unique and inventive style places him amongst the most highly recognised artists in the genre of traditional ink painting. He has held over 80 exhibitions and has had 20 books of his paintings published.
In 2009 Zhou Shaohua completed a series of 12 ink on paper paintings titled “The Chinese Zodiac”. The 2018 Year of the Dog Coin is based on his painting known as Dog (Chinese Zodiac) 2009.
